OpenGL and QT

I have been impressed how easy it has been to get OpenGL working under KDE using KDevelop. I have also found these pretty good tutorials that take you through the basics of OpenGL. As I have never actually written any OpenGL before I am spending some time learning how it all works. It's fun.

New Year, New Job

Well, today I have started my new job at UniS as a research Fellow! So far I have learned where the kitchens are, got a parking permit, a library card and filled out several forms! It's all so exciting!

After that I tidied and cleaned my desk, and am just about to get round to reading the rather large bundle of paqmphlets and information sheets I have accrued over the morning. And after that maybe, just maybe, I'll get on with some work...
