This book is great. I need to check up on the solutions to some of the exercises at some point though. I wish Roger would get on with publishing some of them!

Philosophy

I find myself having philosophical thoughts, often while in the car on the way in to work. So I think I will put them down here for my own reference as comments to this post.

Nokia - Nokia 6260

Another new toy! I've been really spoiling myself lately with this, the camera and even a new Bluetooth headset (to use in the car only!). I confidently predict wasting many many hours configuring, installing and generally messing around with all my new kit and not actually doing anything useful.

First impressions of the phone are good - it looks big, but it isn't actually much bigger than my t610. I haven't road tested any of the features yet but it seems to have all the good features I liked from the 7650 but be smaller, have expandable memory and work with a bluetooth headset. I'll have some more info up soon. Just after I put up the pictures from Bruges, the photos from my new camera (which is proving really good - the photo quality isn't that excellent but the video feature is awesome and it's so handy to carry around) etc. etc. It's a good thing no one ever visits this site...
