Chocolate, beer, waffles and...more beer!

We just got back this minute from Bruges which is a brilliant little town. Lots of beer. Lots and lots of beer! And lots of chocolate. And all within walking distance (or staggering distance depending on how much of the beer you've had...) I'll update with a little more info and some photos later.

This book is great. Buy it. Read it. Treasure it. It is a dose of reality that stirs up the hype and spits out the rubish in all the crap that floats around in the land of sofware development. Buy a copy.

Anyway enough about that book, I had a traumatic experience the other day - I spent half an hour writing a blog that got lost. So there is nothing here telling you about how my parents came over for a roast dinner that went pretty OK, about how I bought this, this and a white fiber optic christmas tree from B&Q (picture to come...)

Also, anyone who visited recently will notice I have actually got all the bits of the website working now (apart from the "info" stuff) so there should be some more website content!

Or maybe I'll just spend some time tinkering with the layout...
